Iphone 4 and brodit mount - how to hide the cables?

I have mounted Brodit's iPhone 4 holder to the dashboard, before I continue I need to find out how to hide the Radtech Procable (30-pin to USB & 3.5mm line out audio) along the trim next to the right knee and console down to the aux connection in the rear. The plan is also to get 12 V directly from the cables under the trim from one of the front power sockets. (see gallery)

I would like to hide the cables behind the trim next to my right knee and along/under the console but I need some advise on how to remove them.

Instructions and photos are greatly appreciated!

/Johan

I have done exactly the same thing but with an apple composite cable.

First of all, because the cable and connectors are White I sprayed the whole lot black with plastic trim paint.

Then I use a griffin USB lighter socket in the aux power socket.

Then use a convertor to make the two audio out sockets into 1 3.5 mil jack. Then all cables go to the back of the cubby box zip tied together.

The cable is just tucked / forced under the trim from behind the seAts. Along the gearbox trim and up the side of the stereo unit using the panel under the steering wheel (it's the glove box on the other side) you can't see the cable, took minutes to fit, and can be out in seconds with no damage. Will try take pics later if any good to you. You may be more fussy than me and want a more permanent job.

Dave,
This is exactly what I was planning to do before I changed my mind... The main problem is the power outlet in the rear, the kids need it for their mediaplayers. However, it could easily be solved with a power splitter. I still aiming for a more "hidden" solution.

Diego, nice installation you have done. Do you have any pictures on how to get to the cables for the power outlets next to the stick?
