The cradle may not fit but the connector should work for the iPod functions. I doubt the telephone functions will apart from maybe the audio out to the stereos speakers.
i emailed a guy from Land Rover a couple days ago and he says no....
he said to have the music function only you would have to use a seperate cable
from the iphone to the aux input that you put in the glovebox..TLO has left the building.......
I no longer work for a Landrover Dealer

Post from rrs site ...
"iPhone and iPod Cradle
Thought I'd let you know that the Apple iPhone fits into the LR iPod cradle, if you remove the top clasp on the cradle.
It enables you to control the iPhones iPod function through the stearing controls and if you pair the iPhone up to the bluetooth then you have a fully functional handsfree kit with charging cradle and iPod controls.
If you dont have the intergrated bluetooth module and you use a bluetooh headset instead, the iPhone automatically mutes when a call is made or recieved.

Very interesting. Can someone confirm that the Ipod interface kit will fit onto an early vehicle (Nov 04).
I have no Blue Tooth in my car, but I do use a headset and the music mute handled by the Ipod sounds great.
I need a new phone, so this could be the way to go.

Interface kit should fit in yours G. Iain and Brendon both had the iPod kit they fitted themselves.
It's easy enough to fit, should take about an hour. The End

Gareth,
First chance iv had today to test the iphone in the ACM.
Well it works great..
Charges the iphone
Plays the ipod side of the iphone ...sounds great.
Can adjust volume with steering wheel controls
Can fast forward / rewind tracks with the steering wheel controls.
If you get a call , it mutes the iphone ...however the call does not come through the stereo.
I paired my iphone with the car's bluetooth kit , and it works great.Call comes in , sound mutes ...after call it resumes back to the ipod track i was playing.
I didnt take the top clip off the ipod holder ,as i didnt know how too , plus it wasn't my car and i did not want to break anything.
But i recon if you did remove it it would be a preaty close fit ...maybee a small piece of velcro just to hold it a bit firmer.
You never know LR may make an adaptor for it ( they supply 2 with the kit for different ipods )
