It's tucked away and doesn't look much from the outside, but how about the Queens Arms on Station Hill in Brixham?Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

G&T territory, surely Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!
The decent ones in Salcombe are all along the harbour, so you can probably check them all - I'd go to the Fortescue. In Kingsbridge, probably the Hermitage in the centre. This time of year and in those places, the pretty ones with a view will be rammed on a nice day - I tend to stay out of the South Hams July/August unless absolutely essential.Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Heritage = done. Some interesting characters in there. Like the bar in Star Wars
Fortescue = nice ale and outside patio garden. Too many grockles like you say...including me Visitor from fullfatrr.com
