Don't let them bamboozle you with words like warranty, improved or economical!

Well I have a D4 XS and what a difference from my D3 SE! LR have downgraded some of the features like no heated rear seats! but I don't sit in the back!! No front memory seats, No arm rests. BUT what a difference this D4 is over the D3, smoother acceleration with no flat spot, interior trim is much improved, upgraded SatNav and DAB etc. Yes it cost me 20K plus my D3 (40K miles), money that you can't take with you!!
Just go for it - you will not regret it.2010/60 Discovery 4 XS Zermatt Silver - Privacy Glass, Timed Climate (with remote), Voice, 4x4 screen, Bong on lock/un-lock (Pete BellAutos)

Had both, D4 is vastly improved. Has the engine / performance the D3 should have had all along, handles significantly better and looks the dogs .............. Plus it comes with three years manufacturers warranty which you may or may not need
I change my car every three years so the fact it is (to some extent) a face lifted D3 suited me fine as I wanted the same again (D3) as much as possible. IMO the changes and improvements are well worth changing for, just remind yourself that no matter what you buy will more than likely cost you a load more.
The first time you plant that throttle, you'll see what we mean!

Yes, the argument is whether it is worth the extra cash But if you imagine here a D3 but every little part of the car bit better and a little more sophisticated you have the D4. The D3 being in my opinion,in the top 10 best cars in the world, and the D4 just improves on that!!! 8)
I had a D3 and loved it to pieces, sold it and tried to buy a TDI Audi A4 and be sensible, a lovely car I must say in every respect! No one can do interiors like Audi can! I failed miserably... and now have a D4.. and I have to report that it is a much nicer car to drive than the D3, and I havent had any real gain on MPG... but I knew I wasnt buying an electric car anyway. When you slip in to sport and floor it at the lights then you understand how much more refined and powerful D4 is. But, saying that, the D3 isn't really slumming it either.
