two different requirements in a car, in my opinion.
the lack of split tailgate in the RRSport was a downside for me and the boot is quite a bit smaller than the D3/D4
also I didnt want to be labelled a "footballer", "Drug Dealer" or "Pimp" , and I hate wearing cheap gold bracklets and necklaces
The RRSport is also quite a bit more expensive and I cant work out what you get extra for the money... Duncan

My source has now told me that it transpires the issue was not the D4 but something unrelated to the car
Looks like D4's are fine Tony

I had the D3 and now the D4. First impressions behind the wheel of the D4 is it is quieter, smoother, handles better and way more power / torque (went from 2.7TD to the 3.0TD). Oh, the seats are better as well.
A bloke that I know who has worked for Landrover for 25 years, mentioned that there are around 1100 changes made from the D3 to the D4.
Either vehicle is great, but the D4 is that bit better.
Cheers, Craig

Changed my D3 for a D4 just over a year ago. Only went into the dealers to try one but it was so much better I bought it then and there. I don't worry about the odd MPH difference. If I did I would buy a different vehicle. IMO the D4 is an amazing vehicle in every way (D3 is no slouch either) If you can afford it have it, good luck....
