Is there an ign feed in the roof lining?

I ask as I want to fit my car cam and it will save me running wires all over the shop.
Car has got rear a/c and rosen drop screen jobby, but that powers up when screen dropped regardless ign on/off.
I think the mirror is auto dim (bit pointless as glass tinted) and was thinking maybe have a play with that?

Thanks

It takes about 15 minutes to run a cable up from the fuse box and through the head lining, that was the recommended way to do it on the D4 as not too sure about a permanent live up there Thumbs Up

Dan
Thanks for that, is there a preferred spare fuse or fuse to take the power from?

I can't remember off hand which fuse I used, I'll see if I can find a photo I took. Basically all you need to do is to take the inner A post trim off, there's a screw behind the air bag badge. There is another trim that pulls off just below that, pull the door seal back and pull the centre lamp unit out and you can feed the wire all the way up and across Thumbs Up

Even quicker if one tucks the wire in the edge of the headlining.

Finally got around to braving the cold and fitted the camera, I found an ign feed to the chromatic rear view mirror which made life a lot lot easier!
