It's in their press info and it's probably been talked about in this forum but the added "luxury" image for the D4 is necessary for the US and Middle East markets which have accounted for a large number of sales, particularly as the Freelander 2 hasn't gone down very well across the pond. U.S. owners were calling for better appointed interiors and more features, frankly if they want utility they have loads of choice at much lower costs than LR products. 2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE
