just one before me. its really not a good car, everything has gone wrong but i suppose the upside is there isnt alot more to go wrong! anyway, i'll sell it at 10k if your interested. there isnt any financing issues just had enough of it.
Now correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there someone on here who had a 'bargain' recently that resulted in him being well and truly out of pocket. I would hate to see another buyer suffer like this.......but these are not the words of Mr Average trying to get his wife off his back when he has bought £15k worth of "not very good car" Everything he mentions sounds like a reasonably easy fix. And he seems just a little over keen to bag £10k when the vehicle is probably worth more
Of course I'm not making any accusations about stolen vehicles or the like, just expressing an opinion about an unusual way to sell a vehicle............
Any bobby's on here??

It seems that there is mystery around if it was owned between 2007 and 2010 being only 2 owners (Andrew and the eBay vendor)
In my opinion though, potentially baiting this guy when you don't intend buying it is a bit harsh. I remember us doing something similar a few years ago (I admit guilt) stressed the person out somewhat.
This poor bloke wants rid, and openly admits it ain't 100% whether he admits to off roading in a previous life is up to him, after all, he may be able to honestly say that HE has not off roaded it. Who cares anyway. I off roaded my first D3 and it was still pukka bar some scuffs.Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"
For 10k, it's a fair price, given the likely work required (drive shaft for starters). Much less and it's a donor car.
It's certainly had more than one prior owner, as it was sold in 2007 at auction to a private purchaser & the current owner states that he bought it exactly a year ago. However, given it's age & condition and the honesty of the description, why worry about the number of bums on seats and times the wheels saw mud?Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Ah, Kev the Builder I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Hi - im the seller of this awful car. I put 1 previous owner as thats what came up on the search when i entered the reg on ebay, sorry if thats not correct.
Having been a trader - not cars I hasten to add - has taught me a few lessons. Firstly, dont rip anyone off as it will come back to bite you and secondly always leave a margin in it for the next man.
I genuinely had no idea of its history, why would I? I had a Disco 3 in Geneva so when I arrived back in the UK I bought another one, £15100 last Feb.
If cdsyoms thinks there is something fishy then please call me or even better call the police as maybe i can then go after the toerag that sold it to me!
No one fancy it for 10k?

I would have thought the log book was the place to confirm number of owners !
You might get a better price dumping it through the auctions with a £10k reserve
Just a thought
If buying another landrover register on the relevant forum site first as a lot of vehicles have some history on the forums, they provide invaluable information on problems and often the best place to find a buyer & seller.
Good luck.
I think as the thread says an honest sellerPreviously those that have a special place in my heart
