Is my V6 a hybrid vehicle???
I came across a site explaining car parts that were more likely to break, and was perplexed to see the following entry:
"Hybrid vehicles: An example of this is a Land Rover with a Ford V6 engine. Stay clear of hybrid vehicles, as they can develop gearbox or clutch troubles if not put together by a professional engineering firm. I have seen Toyota double-cabs fitted with 3,5-litre Rover engines which overheated constantly."

There was once a common practise of fitting a Ford 3.0 V6 (the 'Essex' engine) into Series Land Rovers; this is probably what they're referring to.
Land Rover did sell the D3 with a 4.0 V6 petrol engine in some markets (although not the UK), so yours is the genuine article ... Regards,

Thanks very much
I was beginning to get worried I had made a wrong choice after taking some consideration to opt for V6 rather than V8 Jaguar engine
The engine works well for the road conditions here; it gives me all the power I need for safe driving although unsurprisingly when I switch on the after-burner it does drain my gas.
