ISO lead for Parrot car kit? |
|
Can someone advise of an online supplier for these, and let me know the rough UK price from anyone who has recently bought one? Getting quoted silly money over here....
Many thanks - Jeff K -

The following information is what I found out from SIO communications in the UK.. (www.siocommunications.co.uk) (CK3100)
06-223B Telemute lead to Parrot kit adaptor lead – 6 pin Molex
06-082B Autoleads – Telemute interface lead
Got my installer to get them in so can't tell you what they cost. Also, amn not sure if you need both! NOTE: there isn't much room behind the unit when installing these leads, you have to push and bend in order to get everything back in again!
Hope this helps... What's the point.... it all comes out in the wash anyway!

Hi, I have fitted the ck3100 to the Disco3,
see link : http://www.siocommunications.co.uk/Landrov...K3100.html
I used 06-424B & 06-124B.
This used an adapter which plugs into spare sockets on your exsisting radio, there is a complete tee in loom for base model radios., you have to find a positive live feed,
It is a bit fiddly to fit, but ok if you follow the instructions carefully.
approx prices I paid wre approx £40 for the telemute, & £10 for the parrot lead. This lead does away with the need for ISO connectors.
Regards
Steve

Out of interest, what did you pay installed?
I'm getting quoted $400 (Or $430 on site) for a 3100 fitted, but this doesn't include the audio integration. - Jeff K -

Excellent, thanks. They even have the other leads (06-223B & 06-423B) for just over a fiver each, so once I've worked out which I need, I'll order and get the MIL to forward them over!
Better ask in the Aus section whether anyone else wants any first though. - Jeff K -

Gees, another pom in Oz.
Why don't you off home.
(It'll be interesting to see what the PC police do with that.)
An old joke (it's so old that it is in the old money (Oz changed to decimal currency in 1966)).
There was this pom who immigrated to Australia, hated it & was desperate to go back to Pommyland.
He was a zack (sixpence) short of his return fare.
He approached an Aussie and asked for sixpence so that he could go back to England.
The Aussie promptly gave him 2 Bob (2 shillings) and said "Here yer go, and take three of your mates with yer".
If only it was so simple.

Guys,
I have a Aus Spec HSE which has the HI ICE Harmon Kardon stereo. What leads do I need for a Parrot.
It's the middle stereo, not the base one, but not the premium one. It does NOT have Sat Nav.
Thanks,

Looking at the sites above, they list the same lead for all three D3 stereo options. I ordered an 06-124B and a 06-423B. - Jeff K -
