Yikes!
I'm picking up my new D3 tomorrow!!
Silver/ebony TDV6 SE - locking rear diff, Cooper STT tyres + ARB bar and winch
Guess my patio is going to remain unfinished for at least the next few weekends!
Now just have to think of ways to occupy myself for the next 1 380 minutes
Cheers,
Gordon

Is your Stealer fitting all of these non-genuine accessories?

Chris,
Not directly - I got the finance company to organise them to arrange it with ARB and TyrePower. The winch is being fitted next week.
Cheers,
Gordon

You dont need a patio anyway... it's an off-roader and would prefer the rough D3 HSE V8...

Well it's 5 days later, and the missus has just managed to prise me out of the car So much for hte patio ......
First impressions are all good - the performance is simply amazing (maybe that's just me coming from a D1 200TDI) and so far more than impressive in the sand. My only complaint so far would be that the brake and accelerator pedels seem a little close together, but I can live with that! The winch, dual batteries and bullbar get fitted Wed. Then it's a trip down south to visit the vineyards, and a forest trip the following weekend

Disco4x4au,
It's hard to wipe a smile off your face for a while when in the new D3.
Just a word of caution on the dual battery set. Do a search on this Forum and find some posts about compatibility with the D3.
Divesafe is very knowledgable on this topic and it maybe worth a PM to him to find out more.

Chris,
Thanks for the tip. I had read the posts on AuLRO regarding the battery charging voltage issue - I think I've got that resolved however, using a sensing circuit I had built for a similar issue in my camper-trailer (I carry a lot of computing equipment around). I'll let you know how it works out!
... still grinning ...
