It’s been a long time …….
……. since SWMBO & I have done any real travelling, and as a consequence posted food pics. Remedied with this diet buster.

Is that the healthy version? No sausage, only 1 rasher, and it’s a medallion and not a proper slice. 😉

It’s 2 rashers and the sausage is hiding under the bacon, just peeking out behind the tomato. It’s about all I could manage as not used to that quantity, plus still on diet so that’s it food-wise for today.

Were you eating it outside? Some green stuff seems to have landed on the far side of the plate… or is that one of your 5 a day? I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

That's a pretend cooked breakfast. The sort of thing sold to Yanks as a "full English/Scottish". Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Was enough for me, it’s been that, an apple plus some Greek yoghurt and that’s it all day. My body is a temple, or is it body of a god, and that temple is not Temple of Doom and god is not Buddha.

That makes a big difference to the breakfast. About £5 difference!
Yes, posh place but breakie was free (as were both nights) as part of the loyalty level at that chain as we stayed with them a lot when we were travelling in 2019 and 2020.

Also not having been away for a while, the week before last I got two hotel stops in (one business, one pleasure) - I was excited enough to photograph my full english breakfast both times.
None of that poncy modern stack food on top if itself nonsence so beloved of 'modern' restaurants - here they are - complete with white toast, tea and orange juice - and I enjoyed both equally!

Looks like bliss, a good full English varies wildly. It's great when you hit upon a good one. Nice to see local additional such as the haggis, Hogs pudding is a must for me in this neck of the woods. Although I've never understood the beans in a pot thing, first thing I do is pour them on the plate. Are you supposed to dip your toast or hash brown in it or sumat?
