Its back at last!!

Well I'm chuffed to have it back - it always seem to drive much sweeter, smoother and quieter than any courtesy D4 I've been given.

Its taken another two weeks to get the body shop (some place in Exeter miles away) to fix the 'paint sag' in the correct door this time and a 'pin prick' they left in the door they repainted which didn't need doing Rolling Eyes

Got them to carry out the TSB regarding the 'ticking/rattle' on the seat belt adjuster plate which involved welding apparently (thanks DG for posting that TSB!!)

I then had to wait 3 days after the car had gone back to the dealer to get their valet/detailer to give it the once over - it seems he spent some hours on it - hopefully not leaving me any swirls and getting rid of the scratches on the bonnet after the last visit to the paint shop - I can't tell - and probably won't be able to until and if the sun ever shines on it again .... I haven't and don't intend to get a 'sun gun' to check.

Its going 'up country' tomorrow so will be covered in Censored anyway.

Hopefully it will now be how it should have been when I collected it brand new back in July..... Thumbs Up

Thanks .... and so good to have some side steps to use rather than crushing down the seat bolster, which, on all the courtesy cars I've had without has evidence of such crushed and creased seats 8)
