That's a strange photo. I can see it's Herman Munsters car but it doesn't look like his house!!

I am going to arrange a real world 1 on 1 test with my mate and his Jeep Commander! Now what I need is a limited set of tests (stacked in my favour of course) to put them through where I can clearly demonstrate that the D3 is superior to his Jeep.
Hmmm...
If we do a Peaks Re-Run before Christmas I'm sure I'll be able to call his bluff! Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
Just park them both in a public carpark and ask 100 people "which is the better looking car?"Matt

Hey come on guys ....don't get too down hearted it's only "4x4 Magazine"....some of the catagory's included "Stowage for hairdressing equipment" .....we scored very badly in that 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
Was there a catagory for "close resemblance to an old horsebox".
If someone was tow something horrid with that Jeep then you could be forgiven for thinking that the whole rig was reversing
It has been said that the D3 looks like something 'cool' from Moonbase Alpha. That jeep thing looks like it has its place parked outside the soup dragons cave. It's UUUUGLY

Had a flick through this on the shelf (didn't to waste my money). Not even sure the D3 took part in the group-test. There was a Hummer, though, and a Volvo XC90.Disco 5 HSE Lux

Last year they tested them and made the Santana best, then defender finally in 3rd D3. The Santana had MTRs on and the LR products didn't as LR decided the products should be tested as per basic spec. Each test ended when a wheel became airbourne not when the car stopped. Interestingly enough they all decided that the car they wanted was the D3 though!DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
