No I'm not missing any point. The press has the right to dig up these things for sure but if there is a case to answer then I would prefer the authorities to make the judgement rather than the newspapers...the police are investigating and if proven then fine throw the book at him.
If this leaflet existed then it is abhorrent and Mosley should answer to it ...but it's a bit like history's friend Savile.... to link something that might of happened in 1961 to now and suggest that everyone who has had subsequent dealings with him must have known and is ergo also a racist is, to use CH's phrase, frankly ludicrous.

I have absolutely no doubt that Tom Watson is not a racist.
However, taking money off someone like Mosely was, at least, naive and he should have expected that one day it would bite back and take a chunk out of his ass.
Their ‘alliance’ was driven by a desire from both to see the press muzzled. Something which I have a degree of sympathy with. I merely question Watson’s judgement in taking the money.

Yes, it should be the Justice System that decides not the press. Although Labour seem to have already made the decision not to accept anymore donations from Mosley. What does that tell us?

Well that is for Mosley to sort out after-all ...his involvement with 'a photocopy of the leaflet' is not officially confirmed either way at this time.
Watson wouldn't have had any cause to question Mosleys intentions or character in 2016. It is understandable though that any organisation would distance itself now that such a question has arisen over his apparent historic conduct.
As for donations such as this and those mentioned by Paul ....that is what lobbyists and lobby groups do ...film at 11

As for F1 refund ...rightly so... it was a mess that is why.
Anyway elections are coming ....supposition is king
Meanwhile ...finances in a worse mess 8 years on ...people dying in hospital corridors ...tories sweeping up the homeless for weddings ...Atos still sending terminally ill for assessments for work. Tory party leading brexit to save itself while the rest of the country goes to oblivion.
