Furious Labour MPs are plotting to mount a leadership challenge to get rid of Jeremy Corbyn after the UK voted to leave the European Union.
Ann Coffey and Margaret Hodge are the two MPs to have tabled the letter of no confidence to PLP chair John Cryer who will consider whether to accept it for discussion on Monday.

Rather undemocratic though. Wasn't he voted in by the rank and file members? The PLP elite have never liked him but he's popular with the members (or at least he was).Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Agreed. His lacklustre support for remain was pathetic and if thats how he performs now, what will he be like when it comes to an election. The party would be better off without him. Get rid of him now and replace with someone more in touch with the centre ground for labour and not the looney left.D3 Java Black 57 Plate SE, Night Breakers, Grabber ATs, Sidelight LEDs and best of all - Narpy torch. loads more to buy.

This should be interesting as The Labour Party hierarchy has been supporting Remain BUT after last night the Labour vote in the street has overwhelmingly rejected that position.
Now Corbyn supporters have always said his strength is that he has the support of the members if not the support of his MP's.
So how does this pan out?

He didn't do much in the campaign to be fair, but he needs to stay, especially with David Cameron resigning as well.
Whilst I have always voted Conservative, I actually really like Jeremy Corbyn far more so than Boris, George Osborne and even David Cameron, to the point I would have seriously considered voting for him.
I can't believe what is happening right now, such sad times.Andy

Corbyn was heckled in the street today, whilst attending the Pride March in London. The heckler was right, Labours remain campaign was a joke.
One thing he is though is stubborn. I'd be surprised if he resigns, at least not before his position is totally untenable.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
