I thought I'd share a few pics from a winter protection detail.

During the wash part of the detail I use the two bucket method for washing. The bucket on the right shows how much cr@p comes back off the car in the mitt. If you were using a single bucket with a dark car, you would be re-applying the muck and grit via your sponge or mitt and more than likely causing scratches.
