Judder under hard acceleration with re-map

Over the last few weeks I've noticed a judder under medium-hard acceleration.
My TDV6 D3 Auto has about 80K miles, and I'm running a BAS re-map, (nothing too harsh).
It feels like a slipping clutch if it was a manual. Could the torque converter cause this Question

Thanks
Ollie

does it feel like a slight misfire, if so you might have the rodent problem on feul tank which would be letting abit of air in with the diesel

Many have reported this issue. It appears that its caused by the auto gearbox oil degrading. A flush and oil change should sort it out.

It is expensive to get done at a dealer, but there are options. One of the site sponsors - 4-Tech is offering a complete flushing service, see http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/post564912.html#564912 for details.

Another sponsor, Opie oils can provide the oil at a good price if you fancy DIY.

10forcash could do the work for you at your location.

if its around 30-32 mph, then as Gareth says, gearbox flush I'm afraid and re-configure Thumbs Up

If its around 50-52 mph, wheel balancing Thumbs Up

RE:Judder

Hi

I had simiiar issue with on one of our LR3's
We changed gear box/tranfer box and found that the judder or shudder was still present under moderate/heavy load!! Sad

Ended changing Proper shift and is 90% better can still feel something harly noticable; but running on 20" Goodyear MTR's so little hard too tell.
Prop had excessive wear in the unoin which is not greaseable, so just binned it, certainly some worth trying first

GOOD LUCK!!
