Juddery Acceleration and replacement inlet manifold

Hi all
I have a 2011 LR4 SDV6 (8 speed box). Recently the restrictive performance light came on (2nd time in 5 months). Pulled over turned everything off waited a couple of minutes fired it up, the warning light was off and everything was fine, or so I thought.... So when I accelerated the car moderately it began to "judder" as if it was being starved of fuel. If I accelerate gentle without the turbo's kicking in, no problem.

I took the car to my local independent LR specialist and explained the symptoms. They hooked it up to read the error codes and confirmed I assume after inspection the inlet manifold had a hairline crack, this was the cause of the issue and needed replacing. They've replaced the inlet manifold but the vehicle remains at the garage as the technician phoned me up after fitting it and asked if I experienced any "juddering" under acceleration before I brought it in. I explained it was the reason I brought the vehicle in in the first place!! They're going to swap over the injector rail tomorrow but they're currently stumped as the vehicle's not throwing up any more error messages.

Thoughts anyone?

Thanks in advance

S.

Hi yabadoouk

What was the outcome of this? Appreciate this was some time ago. Just swapped out my inlet manifold and now I have a judder under load. I'm assuming it's the torque converter but after seeing your post I'm curious!
Thanks
