ProSpeed in Australia and our new underbody protection
Firstly, for everyone living in Australia and New Zealand, ProSpeed Off Road have made ties with Mulgo (Expedition Centre) in NSW, Australia. They will be taking individual orders and then sending a bulk order to save on shipping costs for you. To begin with you may have to wait a short while whilst an order builds up, but once they have had chance to gauge demand they will begin to stock our products.
Secondly, we are very close to making our D3 and D4 underbody protection available for purchasing. In the next few weeks you will be able to put your orders in for; sump guard, rear diff guard, transfer box / exhaust / fuel tank guard, and a-arm guards.

Few questions :
What's the metal thickness and the total kit weight ?
Is your agent selling for the UK price , or some made-up-ripoff ? Do realise that we are getting World
pricing over here for many products these days . I've recently bought Bad Cat & Rivera at US street.

The main guards are all made from 5083 grade 6mm aluminium and the a-arm guards from 4mm.
Not everything has been finalised yet, as soon as it has been we will get the specifications to you.
The price Mulgo will be selling at will obviously have to take into account the cost of shipping as well as any of the associated import costs. It will mean you will be saving a huge amount compared to when purchasing it direct from us and having to stump up the money for the extortionate shipping cost. Exact prices have not been worked out yet.
Prices will be up on our site in the coming weeks.

Thank you for the info . Do consider that markups in excess of 5% import duty and USD140 per cubic meter
freight don't cut it here anymore . The landscape of "you sell it for 500 quid and some guy here wants 900 , is over" . Aussies won't wear paying much more than you sell for . That's the go with the Yanks importing here.
IF you can't get a price-point form your guy , don't bother looking at this market . Front skid plates didn't sell
here since the importers were greedy ; same with rear diff covers and skid rails. The serious-market for your product in Oz will be very small . Most D3/4 only see supermarket carpark speed bumps, for suspension
workouts ..........

If the quality of the under body protection is anything like the Prospeed Rack they are on to a winner and they are thoroughly decent and very helpful

Neil, perhaps you're market can take up your advice when they export their wares into Europe. Seems a lot of price fixing and OTT prices are rife.

I just about only import from the US . USD27,000 this calendar year. We're US104c and their freight
in the cheapest in the world. Middlemen can go to hell imo . The do nothing for the customer base other
than rip them off. I've been here ( on and off ) for 25 years and I'm one of many ,many folk who have
given wholesalers the flick . Just saying : that's how we feel , and every country has a view on importation.
If you don't like the price , don't give them your money . Nothing harsh , just the new reality .

You know , before the 1999 Single Market Act , price fixing was a way of life in the UK.
Funny how people forget . You can see why we don't like it either .
