Absolutley - not sure I'd fancy driving across Turkey / Iran border at the moment though

Yes best of luck! 1500 miles per day is a tall order, but hope they can do it. I wonder if its a V8?

1500 miles a day and not break the speed limit? They'd have to refuel whilst moving and go to the loo that way too. Good luck to them though looks a blast!

I've done most of that trip and they think they will only slow down when they get out of Europe, good luck on getting through Romania and Bulgaria as that is where the 300 miles a day will happen and if they have to drive through Tehran in rush hour which is most of the time could kill a day. I haven't seen the rest of the road infrastructure in Iran but I think it will be ok (hope the don't want to go to the US after)
I guessing the G4 will have the extended fuel tank so they could manage 1 stop in the 1500 miles but staying to the speed limit Rolling Eyes German autobahns will help but they are slowly disappearing.

Anyway hope they do it.

Well they're on their way and looks like they are making their way through Iran

Heard the D3 threw a bit of a hissy fit in Turkey and was sorted by a Mercedes-Benz main dealer Whistle
