Hello
I have a problem, I can't open the doors with keys (may be due to battery problem. I have to recharge it a mont ago). Keys don't opened the doors when i try.
So, I remove the door handle cover and I try directly to open with the key in the hole (in the left front door even for France). The door won't open : I turn the key to the left side, it doesn't want to turn to the right side. The key turn just a little bit on the left side.
For your opinion, is it normal? What can I do?
Thanks a lot for any suggestion.
I try with the 2nd key, same problem.

Hello
Always with the problem. Battery failed (I suppose because it was discharged a month ago. Even if red light on dashboard is lighting) and impossible to unlock the front left door with the key. The key turns around 20 degree when I turn it counter-clockwise; but it doesn't turn clockwise.
Do you know if I have to turn clockwise or counter-clockwise to open the door?
As I never use (till 12 years) the key directly in the door, for your opinion, what can I use to greased the lock? WD40 or something else?
Thanks a lot

Hello
Problem solved. I succeed opening front left door and battery is now in charge!
Answer if it could help someone : you need to turn the key clockwise. As I can't turn clockwise the key (because never opened by key since 12 years!), I spray PTFE spray used for karting in car lock (may be some other spray could do the job but I have it) and after a few test, it succeeds to open the door.
When recharged, I have to go to LR to buy a new battery.
