Key low battery warning but new batteries

My D4 keeps showing low battery warning on both my keys despite twice changing batteries. The batteries are new.

Any thoughts or ideas as to why this might be happening and how I can remedy it?

Had this occasionally and solved it by using a premium brand battery (Duracell) with a long shelf life.
For some reason my fobs didn't like a cheaper battery

Thanks. They are new Energizer batteries but i'll go and try Duracell. You never know, LR are sensitive things around anything electronic. Laughing

Were they Energizers or "Energizers". A lot of fake batteries around.

Buy from a reputable source, not just the cheapest on eBay or Amazon.

If buying on Amazon make sure they are sold by Amazon themselves not a 3rd party, even if Prime delivery available.

Good shout. They came from an Amazon reseller. I'll buy some Duracell from B&Q later. Thumbs Up

Strange that you mention Energizer batteries Moo, was only reading elsewhere a couple of days ago of someone having issues that after fitting new Energizer’s that the low battery would not clear.
