Just checked DiscoDunc's suggestion of starting car then walk away and lock doors with the remote. Can't do it on my 12MY, OR do you need to be a certain (further distance away). Just beeps twice like when you try and lock it an there is a transmitter still inside the car. If it don't fit the third time - try a bigger hammer
