Thanks for the kind words gentleman and thank you for supporting the Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team As you all know the MRT's up here and in Cumbria have been a bit busy lately with floods etc. They really do need the support and events like this raise much needed funds as they are called in to deal with all sorts of incidents now, not just 'mountain rescues'. This afternoon as I was taking my young helper home we passed Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue Team on a blue light run as they had been drafted in to help the ambulance service which was having difficulties reaching certain parts of the county due to the snow.
I think most people enjoyed the event and the snow just added a little extra something, I'd also like to thank George and Simon, who are both members on here, who volunteered to marshal the event so it could go ahead

I wouldn't mind trying it for a day, I would say I'm a competent novice in the rough but don't want to end up like the two Defenders. Looks fun though.
