Kielder Forest Drive
Big thanks to Ian (Hairy Dan) who suggested we drive home this way
It's essentially a gravel toll road that's takes you from Kielder castle to the A68 and has some spectacular views..... These are only from the iPhone so quality isn't the best

Reading this I feel a Kielder trip coming on
We've stayed at both the lodges and Knoppingsholme Farmhouse and I'd recommend both, as well as the Pheasant Inn for food. If you're into biking, definitely take a mountain bike, and if anyone's interested in astronomy there are loads of events at the Kielder Observatory
