For those that don't know The Kielder 4×4 Safari is operated to raise funds for charity. The Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team was established in the 1960s and provide an irreplaceable service that now extends to urban areas supporting the police in the search for missing vulnerable persons. Last year the team responded to 68 incidents.
The service they provide is invaluable to both the hill-walker & climber as well as the wider community. Taking part in the Kielder 4×4 Safari is a great way to support this worthy cause.Cheers Ian

Attended one of these safari!'s
It was organised through this site a few years back around 2008/9. (Flinty 99)
Fair bit of snow around if I remember right.
Had a good weekend
Myself and mrs, stayed at the The Pheasant Inn.
We made a long weekend out of it.
Keep saying, we would do again, maybe this year
