Kipor Generator

Just collected a very tidy 2000Ti, what a piece of kit, been on the look out for one for camping since looking over Iggys at Chepstow and Ents Honda at Peterborough. Very Happy

Can't always get power when I finally get to camp to set up, so just in case, I can charge batteries for fridge etc using my Ctek 25, or with this actually run full on 240v stuff.

I already had a couple at home, a smaller 750w Yanmar suitcase job I've had for years, and a bigger 3.2kw frame genny that we used on house renovations etc for remote power or down the garden when power was needed, so I was looking to get one that will allow me to sell these two on and have one for both home use and camping.

I know it's not an EU20i, but they're pricy, so Good size, noise level and power for something so easy to carry .

Really pleased Mr. Green

Good choice Greg it's a lot of generator for the money Thumbs Up

I have the similar 2600 Ti model and bought it about 2 years ago ,looked at buying the Honda EU but the Kipor was half the money with a good power output ...have used for camping trips weekend after weekend and its powered heavy duty equipment at work in the middle of nowhere! Quite reliable its never let us down ..it can sit on the shelf for weeks / months and starts after just a few pulls ...over winter storage I just drain the carbs float bowl down to make sure all is well
enjoy

I was reading about pulling the plug to put oil in the bore and closing the valves for long term storage Shocked

Think I'll just drain it Thumbs Up

I've not done the oil in the bore Greg ..but guess for a longer period of storage it would be good advice

The carb cover is a quick two screws to remove and then undo the screw on the float bowl until its drained, when reusing the Kipor you could prime the carb to save you lots of pulling on the start cord ..just open the stop/start fuel tap and then open and remove the tank filler lid ...place a rag over the neck and blow to refill the carb bowl ...then start as normal

Rag, that's for girls Rolling with laughter

Thanks, sounds a good idea, saves the arm ache Thumbs Up

The oil is to prevent rusting in the bore due to being open to atmosphere, it said to pull steady til you feel resistance , then stop as the valves are then closed
