Same here , washers not worked for a few days so I assumed frozen.

Checked lunch time and indeed the 10amp fuse was blown.

Glad I read this as I'm off to Halfords after work to get some spares and would have replaced like for like.

Random quote but how piggin difficult can it be to get the fuse out. I've got more scratches on the back on my hand than if I'd have tried to milk a cat!!!!!!!

Have you checked the fuse yet DaveVX ?

If your getting clicking of the relay, then power is still there. You will get a click even though you don't hear the pump due to it being frozen or all the water is solid.

Well... that's my theory anyway.

What an absolute b*st*rd that fusebox is behind the Glove Box - the 'spares' are physically impossible to get out Rolling Eyes

And I reckon it was only good luck and fortune that prevented me from dropping the old fuse/new fuse/fuse plucker (delete as appropriate) down into the bowels of the car behind the glovebox on Friday Evil or Very Mad

Good design isn't it - was checking fuse 11 on mine today (as my washers have not worked all day) and it is not very easy to get at even with the supplied fuse holder - resorted to a pair of thin nosed pliers in the end. The 10 amp fuse had blown so changed it for a 15 amp and the front and rear jets are now working again.

I also reseated relay 4 and fuse 12 in the bjb as my heated jets dont seem to be working - dealer only replaced both jets a few months ago Rolling Eyes will get them to check them out again on Monday as I had a red air bag warning light on Thursday - but not today Confused

Simon Thumbs Up

Yep your right clickinging noise from glovebox area + no water from washers = frozen pump/pipes.

so no new fuse required

and its + 6 here and all working well

Ah... at last I made a helpful post Wink

Glad its all working. Still a good idea to check and change the fuse for the higher rated one though.

Make sure you have the right screen wash or mix in the system, mine works at -6 after the nozzles have defrosted and the engines warmed up... also I try to remember to prime the system at last switch off to ensure there is fluid al the way up to the nozzles... no idea if this actually helps, but at least I have clean screens in the morning when its all defrosted Thumbs Up
