Stopped at grizedale a few weeks back, fantastic time. We did what the guide book says was the 10 mile walk around the forest apart from it was a lie and it's actually 14 miles Laughing

Andy - nice pic on my fave ferry Thumbs Up - bet the queue was pretty horrid this time of year

We go in Feb and November - use it a lot - no queues.

The queue for the ferry will be ridiculous any season now. There is a new payment system using a machine. When we tried it wouldn't take cash only card and the instructions are impossible if you haven't got your glasses.

All in all a good trip though Thumbs Up D4 MY15 SE TECH
