From memory I don't think the car was over 5 years old, it was a while ago.

Thanks for all the answers, it’s a 14 registration so should be under this guideline.
I cannot see the five year element of the information on this page, is this in another area please?
Thanks

There is no Topix link. The information I have received is only viewable by main dealers and not accessible to general public.

Just heard back from chief exec's office at JLR after providing them with all the info I had inc the copy of approved used standards.
The response I got was unfavourable. To keep it short - basically they accept it states that tyres on approved used should be OEM but would not insist on this and that it is a suggestion only. In other words an approved used vehicle certificate is completely worthless as dealers do not have to comply with the checks.

Regret the day I had a dabble in Approved Used.
No better than back street garages, just dearer and more rude.
My final issue of transmission noise, received ultimate insult today. We can keep looking for the issue and charge you for investigation until we find something to claim on warranty.
Bloody defect was there from collecting it, in my view dealer should be fixing it as part of their preparation work that they poorly carried out!Discovery commercial tdv6 auto 2013

The dealer trying it on is one thing but when JLR break their own Approved Used Promise and fob you off just makes you lose all faith.
