Land Rover Centre Huddersfield
Hi,
I have used these guys a couple of times for small jobs and I have always found them extremely helpful and quite reasonable on price. However, my son used to work in a local pub and heard some people complaining about them, so I am just wondering if anyone has any experience of them?
I am inclined to think they're a good company but thought it'd be worth an ask on here.Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

i used to use them all the time with my Series and Defenders for parts and stuff, only used the workshop a few times with some mixed results. Parts department was always good and the work that got done in the workshop was good but ive had a friend that was not happy with their new workshop manager and i aint been there for about 8 years work work doing
Land Rover Centre use to specialise in older land rovers and they were really good at it but in recent years they have started doing newer ones and i think that is where they struggle more. The vehicles for sale there are always on the high side of the price bracket but they have the reputation to back up the price. Although my old defender ended up there ( I sold it to 4x41 as it had rotted out chassis and body mounts and someone brought it from there , put it on a new chassis on it and sold it to land rover centre) It was up for sale with the phrase " full respray" yet when i opened the doors the security marker pen numbers were still there from when the police security tagged it. These would of come off/ be hidden with a respray.
If you dont mind spending abit of money i can advise Ben at Stonelake of Halifax for work on Disco 3's and 4's. He is pricy (£75 per hour labour) but the customer service is second to non and all the work he has done on mine has been spot on. Use to use him for our works Defender and he did all the warrenty work on it.Discovery 3 - Black SE with HSE upgrade

I can also vouch for quality of the service from Stonelake. They service our Pumas and D4. They do tend to be busy and are normally booked up 2-3 weeks in advance for standard service work.
Now Michael who runs the parts department at Stonelake is extremely helpful and I believed he used to work in the parts department at the LRC at Huddersfield.
Stonelake is a family run business of Stuart (dad), Ben and Luke and have been working with Land Rovers for decades, highly recommended.
