Glynne - thats the silver kit.
I was looking at these couple of days ago -
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DISCOVERY-3-4-EX...19d8079c7a
They are priced at £435 but were £219.99 looking at his history so maybe they are priced wrong, I will have a set as well if the price gets sorted. Paul Redding

I had emailed lrparts anyway as they have sold me various bits that are extremely good quality and more importantly seem to fit first time!
Couldnt see the rails on their website though............may go and have another look

The post doesn't state what colour, more that they didn't want to be bent over
Just another option

Just out of interest are these difficult to fit?
I really like the look of the longer rails.

Piece of
20 minutes the first one and 15 the next.
look great and means that I can stick on a roofrack and carry ladders etc.
The roofrack takes about 30 seconds to remove and goes in a nice bag that fits in the boot a treat, so even if you forget and rock up to a low carpark, the queue of cars isnt too long behind you by the time you have taken it off again!

A for Slimer, I've bought a couple things from him & always found him a top bloke to deal with.
The roof rails really are "please bend over sir" job from the dealers, that's for sure
But I wonder when Slimer quotes his rails as being "non OEM" what that means exactly. Are they pattern parts or what ?
How well did they fit Bill ?

They're very similar to the OEM ones Derek, but considerably cheaper which is reflected slightly in the finish but once fitted I think you'd hardly notice.
Bill provided me with some very useful feedback when he fitted his set but I'll let him give you his opinion before saying any more The End
