Land Rover Experience

Well you could have knocked me off my perch today. Shocked I got a complimentary LR experience letter re me buying a new car in March.

The last three new purchases, I got nothing, I’ve had to chase them up, before that it was vouchers from the dealer.

That said I now have four saved up half days. I’ll get round to them sometime.

This is what they look like in case anyone was wondering.

I had one of those a few weeks ago, suggesting I try the RRS.

Nice Thumbs Up

Wouldn’t have mentioned today’s letter, but although I should have got ones before, I never did, so it’s a first.

I actually thought it was a letter about the exorbitantly priced service plan I purchased at the time - still waiting for that. Rolling Eyes

I've always been given by dealer without asking, and just had a letter giving another after a servicing survey.......

We tried a RRS last time, great vehicle, only downsides are price and smallish (relatively) boot

I’ve still got the one for the Velar. Though I’m thinking about using my own one for their 70th Anniversary trek. £75 per vehicle, routes suitable for all models.

Used to get them in the post, but now just phone them up, though got one in the post for the Velar.

Yes, I saw that, they sent me a letter. Tempting, but I am struggling to find time.

I have the time - but not the offer!

If it’s the 70th Anniversary trek you’re interested in, it’s open to anyone, no special invites. Just go on the LR Experience Scotland website Thumbs Up

Visited Dunkeld again yesterday with my 18yo son, courtesy of a voucher through the post last week.
Fantastic morning spent in a 3.0 D5 HSE in very dry and dusty conditions. We both thoroughly enjoyed the visit and great that my young lad got to drive off road for the first time, and he did remarkably well Bow down

D5 is just lovely to drive, on and off road and the heads up display is impressive. Although that model with all the toys seems to build up at over £70k Shocked

Having spent some time sitting in the back whilst my lad did his bit, my concerns re the middle row seats are now confirmed, too low and not very comfortable for me at 6’2”. The rear air con was most welcome as it was 24 degrees, again.

Thanks to the team at Dunkeld, especially David our instructor, for making the visit a wee bit special for us both Thumbs Up
