Land Rover extended warranty

Looking a D4 and think that a private purchase may be an option and then add a LR warranty , I understand the two types of product that are on offer approved and select , my question I ask is the will the car have to go to LR for an inspection can find much about this side of the warranty package many thanks

If its not currently in warranty, then yes I was told that it would have to be inspected, at your cost (circa £150 I think) MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

So, sorry for the stupid reply, but if you bought a relatively newish 3-4-5 yr old D4 privately, you can just pay the inspection fee, and then whatever the cost is for a LR warranty on top, and it's back and covered?
