Land Rover Jaguar of the Gulf Coast

Located in Mobile, Alabama USA is the best dealer I have ever been too. The service depatment is great, the head tech is as friendly as can be and the president of the LR club. Doug the service guy will work you in in short notice for unexpected problems. The sells guys will give you the shirt off their back, they spent over a year working with my family on or resent D3 buy. They are zero pressure, drive as many as you want till you find the one you like. They always have a good selection of new and used Rovers. Its the only dealer I have been to that the employees are as in to the cars as the clients. The only con is their offroad coruse sucks, its not that great, kind of a after thought. But other than that its the best dealer in the southeast.

James many of the UK dealers that have the land available around the showroom also have an "off road" course so they can demo the cars capabilities - the local dealer here has one but they are so short of space that they use it as a stand to show off cars at jaunty angles and with wheels flying! I think it was part of the LR "Corporate Image" when dealers upgraded their facilities a couple of years ago.
Now a disillusioned new Land Rover buyer and have jumped ship to something less expensive and more reliable that hugs trees.... now driving a Mini Countryman PHEV as well as my trusty and brilliant 1996 Epsom Green Defender90 Tdi300

Yeah, the dealer in North Point, Georgia has a kick Censored track. Logs, rollers, turn tables, 35degree side angels, the works. But they are less than friendly there.

In America LR drivers are viewed as yuppies, but in recent years it changing to a outdoor niche. LR marketing department has been pounding the image in our heads, and it seems to work. SO the dealers feel more like a hunting lodge than a car dealer. Moose heads on the walls, fishing poles, sales "guides" wear Colombia style shirts, and the cars are often put on display with things on the roof like canoes and such.
