My Landrover dealer has closed !! |
|
Evening all, been using my local Landrover dealer for service parts and now closed. So need oil filter and have always bought genuine LR. Question is what would be recommended as close to OEM. Thanks

I have been a customer of Sytner Land Rover Portsmouth & predecessors (Guy Salmon et al) for many years.
They have advised that they are closing on Tuesday 31st December. and suggest transferring my business to:-
Sytner Land Rover South West London
42 Hanworth Road, Sunbury-on-Thames, TW16 5LN.
Telephone number: 0208 398 4222
Or their Land Rover Service centre in Ascot:-
Unit 4/5 Sterling Business Centre, Bracknell, RG12 2PW.
Telephone number: 01344 631700
both too far for me, so I will use an indy for service & buy parts from one of these thrown up by a Google search:-
https://www.google.com/search?q=land+rover...s-wiz-serp
the indy I would recommend is:-
https://www.aclandroverspecialist.com/
17 Arnside Road
Waterlooville, PO7 7UP
Tel: 02394 003872

đź‘Ť thanks for the information. My dealer was Harwoods Pulborough, Bentley are still there but the LR parts and showroom are empty. They have posters up saying nearest is now Chichester or Croydon. Shame as I was only 5 mins away. Interesting that Sytner have done similar!

Yes.
My understanding is that Harwoods Chichester will from December 30 2024 operate as an authorised repairer for Land Land Rover vehicles, but won't be selling them !

Yeah some dealers aren’t selling new cars , so they can convert to EV setup. Don’t quite understand it.
Anyway Mahal or Mann are OEM I think.
