can anybody recommend a good independent landrover specialist in birmingham
I have somebody on site with a freelander who has in her words a clunking and vibration on start up when cold on her freelander diesel. it goes away when pulling off. she would just like it checked

I'm off to see these guys for a D4 8-speed gearbox flush this coming Monday.
They appear to have a good reputation on this forum (hence why I rang them) and having made a couple of calls discussing the flush, they are super helpful when chatting to them.
Appreciate this is not Birmingham but perhaps 30 or 40 minutes south of you. They know 4x4s.
