Had a flyer and a phone call from my local dealer in Truro - a new Landmark for £49,995 - in black or silver - only 3 left. I said no I'm all right with mine thanks..... and didn't check out further.
Missus asks whats the difference - heated bloody steering wheel (which I would never use) and rear entertainment thingys..... thats about it as far as I can tell. She thinks the rear entertainment thingy would be a good idea for the grandchildren as they get older..... so now she's got me thinking......
Thing is my HSE has, I think, stuff that the Landmark (LM) hasn't - according to the old brochure. Stuff that I got added:-
Fridge (although too small to be of any real use)
Extended roof rails (although LM has silver long ones)
Mud Flaps
Side steps
Black veneer inserts
Privacy Glass
Black and silver diamond wheels (as per HSE Lux)
Adaptive Xenons
Rubber mats/boot liner
I can't get some of this added to the LM as its a factory only fit - anyway I ring the dealers back to get more info on what the black ones they have, have (if u get my drift) and they say they will get back to me and haven't so far (nothing new there). Maybe its best they don't as mine is just over a year old and I'm happy with it..... despite its teething problems which I went into some detail a year or so ago.. still any thoughts? - I do love my diamond wheels in particular and wouldn't want an LM without them....2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

Oh - meant to add - asked if I would like to be on the viewing list for the D5 on 1st Dec ... no thanks, its an ugly looking brute as far as I can tell without seeing it in the flesh.... just a big sport/re worked ewok - boring, boring ..... oh he says - we haven't seen it in the flesh either.
