Lateral Accelerometer Sensor Readings

Guys
Not sure if I have an issue with my D3 (2005) but on my GAP IID tool when I check the sensor reading (live values =>select live values => complete list => suspension). The longitudinal accelerometer value seems to change very slowly up to 65ms2 on a round the block drive. However, the laternal seems to jump from 0 to 262ms2 while the car is sitting stationary on tickover.

This doesnt sound normal to me and I think I have a faulty sensor. Would it be possible for someone with a IID tool and 5 mins to spare to check their D3 for me to see if they they get the same.
Regards
Andy

You should have something like this with with very minor fluctuations at complete standstill, and no wind influence!

Yep thats what I have but if I move about in my seat lateral measurement bounces from 0ms2 to 262ms2.

Thanks. So this confirms the reading laterally should be binary, either 0 or 262. I asked the question as the longitudinal reading was linier when you accelerate or brake.
