Hello
Do you have the electrical adjusted steering column as well?
I think Lazy Entry is that the steering column moves up and the seat goes backwards to make it easier to het in and out.

It’s a function that I could happily never have activated. Unless it’s really going to assist you physically in getting in and out of your D3, I’d save the time and effort. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Written Off)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Surely the last!) PD1881 rims-GONE

for me is just a curiosity!
I am installing an electric column and I wanted to understand if this function could be actived !
I would also like to program the two keys with the two different settings for me and my wife, but I didn't understand how! Discovery 3 MY2005

The two keys are easy to program, they correspond to the memory settings on the seat so just program the seat as you want.
It is working great for me. And yes, when Lazy Entry is enabled and when steering column adjust knob is in Auto the seat and steering column moves.
I guess you have checked the internal circuit board on the memory seat ecu so that there is no circuits missing?
I bought the same ecu as you have and for me it had the circuits. Just check to be sure.

On the 2010 on model year the CJB is different for the electric steering column so it’s possible that the earlier cars need a separate CJB also.

Hello, yes I did and it was an easy job. When all parts were collected 😀
Regarding the steering column, make sure it is from an MY09 and earlier. From MY10 the locking barrel is situated differently since D4 and RRS MY10 have the electronic start button. I know this from the hard way.
Remember to take photo or write down the calibration digits before you install the column. Send them to Patrick at GAP-Diagnostics and he will send you the update to the IIDTool to upload to instrument pack.
I’ll be happy to help, no problems. RRS MY06 4.4 V8

I always wondered what lazy entry was and never bothered to find out. I thought when it was activated my wife would open the door for me The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

It's amusing for a while but pretty much useless and we've turned ours off.

If you have the steering right up and the seat right back, it’s useless anyway
