LCD Information Display on Dashboard

Anybody else have / had a problem with "Slow" updates to LCD screen on dash. - More apparent on gear shifts...... Gear Indicator 1 > 2 > 3 etc very slow..... could be up to 5 seconds after gear has been changed before updated on dash display.

Also Reverse "R" indicator does not appear to work any more.......

Your transfer box ECU may need to be reconfigured. Your dealer should know about this fault.

your driving a manual right?
Im pretty sure the screen wont update untill the clutch switch on the pedal is fully off, i had a manual which did this because i cover the clutch pedal quite alot in the lower gears.
The switch was so sensitive the screen was nearly never seen indicating R, 1st and 2nd.

Correct... It is a manual and I note your comments regarding clutch etc, but the way the display updates has 'changed' during last few days and I dont think my driving habits have !

Also my wife has noticed it aswell so i think there must be a fault somewhere.

Rgds

As mentioned already, it could be a communication error between your transfer box ECU and the parking brake module; it could also be a fault with the gear change position sensor - which is on top of the gearbox, and I think can only be changed by dropping the gearbox out.

Either fault could have "developed".
