No gray plug and it’s a 05 hse I’m robbing the bits off.
I can’t remember when I had seats out fitting sat nav if there was a plug under the driver’s carpet under the seat.
If not is it just a case of getting the loom and plugging it in on the driver’s kick panel.
And when I fit the logic7 amp will I need to tell the ccf it’s fitted or will it just work.

Dunno, sorry
So I reckon, to fit a drivers memory seat, without doing the mirrors, you need to do the following wire connections on the grey plug.
Thick brown/green to + 12v pin 13 to fuse 46. (you may already have this wire under the seat on the ford connector)
Thick black to ground (there should be a thick black wire on the ford connector, you can use)
Thin black to ground pin 12.
white/red to +12v pin 11 to fuse 54
red pin 22 to LIN BUS (this is diffciult to find) Should be on the windscreen pillar as it runs to the sunroof and rain sensor). There is likly more than 1 red wire though! Start on the drivers side pillar
All other cables on the grey connector. (lots) are for the mirrors and mirror switch
Of course, if you get the floor loom out the HSE with the grey plug, it should be easier and simpler. But those wire above and what you need to pay attention to
