Been looking at replacing my reverse light bulbs for brighter led ones. I found on another post that the
382 Twenty20 92 LED 12V P21W Canbus Bayonet Bulb were possibly the best but no longer available anywhere. Seems to be bit of a minefield finding a suitable bulb with prices ranging from £15.00 to £50.00 for a pair of bulbs.
Any advice on which to buy Defender 300Tdi 110 HCP - Keswick Green

Buy the latest offering from Steve at AF. I'm not a big fan of LED conversions but the reverse light bulbs are astonishingly good.

+2 for Steve's LED reversing lights, mine are in a D3 and are a major improvement over the standard filament bulbs.

Had some of the original AF bright LEDs in the D3, and they were a huge improvement.
Then they brought out the Ultimate LEDs. They went in and the originals went into to wife's FL2, and they are not that great in comparison

+4 for the mega bright LEDs from Advanced that I fitted a couple of days ago. I have to do a bit of reversing in the dark on narrow tracks and it's a night and day improvement. Money well spent D4 GS 12MY
+5 for Steve's LED reversing lights, great service & a major improvement over the standard filament bulbs.
I have noted what SGH says - obviously I can't comment, save to say that AF's customer service has always been exemplary for me.

SGH - I try out all of the LEDs before we place stock orders, I have the Visor ones fitted myself, they are fiddly to fit, easy to cross the wires over and blow fuses. However I don't recall an email that I have ignored, perhaps it never got to me? Marvelous world of communications we have but a telephone call to me would have most likely provided the answer.Paul Redding

I've had all 3 versions of the AF reverse bulbs and the latest ones are amazing as are the interior bulbs.
The size of the reverse lense on a D3 lends itself really well to the bright bulbs, it's like having driving lights in the rear
Takes a while to get used to the interior bulbs as they are so bright, problem with them is the ones in my other car seem useless now IID PRO

I too sent an email to AF and had no reply. However I still bought the sidelight bulbs was asking about, plus a set of the bright the reversing ones. They arrived very fast!

Out of interest Steve how do the current replacement bulbs (T20BSHP16 80W - THE ULTIMATE WHITE REVERSE LAMP ) compare to the previous ones I have (120SMD BRIGHT WHITE REVERSE LIGHT) ?
FWIW I found Steves advice and service to be excellent even though I was only buying a couple of bulbs at the time.
