Thanks Cliff.

If all goes according to plan, the guy buying the Audi is meeting me at the LR dealers, so it should be an easy change over (fingers crossed).

Of course.

And a towbar, and towing electrics, and OE sunshades, and side rubbing strips, and one Xenon headlamp....

Is it too late to ask them NOT to put dealer stickers in the back window?

When getting to the dealers, they will probably go straight into paperwork/finance/extra insurances mode (unless this has gone before and it is 'just a pickup') then they take you to the car. This is the wrong way around.

Make sure you get a good gander at the car prior to signature so you can with hold signature of acceptance should there be any minor "issues" with the car. At this particular point in the proceedings they will sort things out very willingly. If you check back to a recent post of of mine it has a checklist in it, a bit overkill but might act as a useful prompt for one or two things... a cool head on an exciting (and hot) day!

Enjoy the experience, it doesn't happen too often (for me anyway), I hope you enjoy the car as much as we have in our first three weeks. It is everything and more then we expected.

Good luck
