Upside down..... Rolling Eyes

Tanters, I might get confused though & get into an X5 or something........ Shocked Shocked Shocked

My feeling at the moment, are that I'll go for Option 2, needs to be in that far to save me having to cut through the LR badge, Option 3 I think is a little too wide (although I do like the option of putting the LR logo in the middle of the Grill... 8) 8) )
Will have a look & see the best places to make the precision incisions...... Smile

Thumbs Up

Well typically when presented with a number of options, I’ll always consider an option not listed Whistle

I say option 3 & relocate the LR badge offcenter inbetween the lights, i.e. to one side as it is now, just taking into account the lights position.

Or just not bother, the lights are excellent on the D3 and there is so much light pollution in the UK that unless you plan to go find a dark desert to drive over its not worth the effort Wink

Maybe you should make that option 10...

I like the option of Tea with Bombay Sapphire Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

OK, so been doing soem measuring and mocking up on the grill (with the aid of some polystyrene underfloor cut offs.....)

So this is the wide option and TBH, I think I'm heading towards this side. I really want to get the LR logo onthe middle, but the angle of the mount isn't really condusive to getting this easily...

This is the narrower version, but of course not the very very close version

Got all teh measurements I need, just need to make more of a fixed template in wood/MDF or similar before I hack into the Grill.

Anyone got any tips on welding Plastic or glue that will be able to be sanded/shaped & then filled/sprayed black!
(for when I graft the LR logo into the middle of the grill)

Will keep you posted.....

Gaffa tape Bodsy, works a treat Thumbs Up

It comes in BLACK too, so you don't need to worry about spraying it too much.

Fibre glass and epoxy resin can be sanded very smooth and will probably give the best finish. Thumbs Up

I thought about epoxy resin, but not Fibreglass Embarassed Embarassed

I'm sure a fairly basic small kit would do the trick Thumbs Up

Got (black) Gaffa tape, but TBH, not quite the look I was after Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes .
