Welcome to the site Diver.
Send a private message to Disconutter as he's managed to lift his D3 by about 2 " ISTR.I think he imported his from Oz.Pretty sure he has pics in his gallery aswell.
Use the site" search" facility at the top of the page , type in something like +coil + springs and type in Disconutter as the author using " posts " and/or topics.
Good luck with the lift.

Hi the diver,
I'm not sure how relevant this is to your situation, but yesterday I had the King Springs fitted (in Sydney, Australia). The cost for supply, fit & 4-wheel alignment was $A 695, which I thought was very good value.
Best Wishes,
Peter

Do you have to drop the diff as well, to protect the CV joints?

Hi Norto,
It was a conscious decision to wait until warranty expired. Which it now has.
Hi Jonty,
The lift is, apparently, 65mm. Those who have done it before (such as Norto) didn't even change the shocks. Therefore, neither did I.
The diff wasn't lowered. Time will tell re any effects on the CV joints. I'm willing to risk it, as the underbody damage due to the low OE spring height was unacceptable, and I like the idea of the diffs being higher, therefore less susceptible to damage.
Best Wishes,
Peter

Hi Norto,
You are right - it's scary.
I haven't taken out extra "warranty" as I wasn't convinced of its value. (Double scary).
Wish me luck,
Peter

The height that you get from these is not that different from the Off-Road setting on air-dampers so diff etc are designed to take it
Diver, I'll send you a PM later. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Hi Norto,
I hope so (fingers crossed).
I did have a moment, however, when my Service Advisor had a "concerned look" when he realised that the D3 was out of warranty.
Gees it's hard driving with your fingers crossed (I've now reduced it to keeping each hand separate. )
Best Wishes,
Pete
