Light at the end of the tunnel?

Amber light has been finally sorted after the garage saying that there was plenty of pads found that the backs were on the limit, anyway the garage have had Disco back in and given it a full service, new pads, checked all fluids and I didn't pay a penny (which I wasn't going to anyway).
They have given me in writing an extended warranty an if at any time in the next 30 days I am still not happy they will take the vehicle back and a full refund will be given.
Can't ask for more really, but I have taken the extended warranty out with Tescos!

It is strange how the D3 uses the rear pads so heavily. I've always found this on mine. On inferior cars it's the fronts that wear first Wink Confused

I love my 1998 D1 and wouldn't describe it as an inferior car! I believe 80% of the braking on these is on the front Thumbs Up

But my 1997 Camel eats the rear pads twice as fast as the fronts. So mine is a good one. Laughing
