Does your light go out???

With Radio on, when you switch off the ignition and then lock your D3 - does the radio display screen still stay on for a minute?

Mine does, but don't rekon it did before.
When still in the vehicle with ignition off and keys out, if I press the radio on/off button, as opposed to the screen going out, tha radio comes on AND the satnav screen comes on [loaded with current position - not welcome screen].
What does your do????

Been also suffering from an EGR type issue today

Had D3 into local garage for brake pad renewal a couple of days ago, not used it since.
Also got them to wire my Driving lights into the main beam [should've used TFC!!]
Just thinking could ALL my issues be combined by dodgy wiring ?

Yes, it's dodgy wiring?

Ron - my radio stays on when I switch off and lock up - so no worry there.

And yes, if I switch on the radio (with keys out) the Satnav screen comes on in the last used mode (e.g. current postion, 4x4 info etc) - so no worry there either I reckon.

Its done this since day one.

Mine too. But not all the time.

It does not seem to matter whether the radio was on or off at switch off either.

It would seem quite normal.

The infotainment system stays active for ~120 seconds after locking the vehicle due to the amount of 'boot time' needed for the system, not only does the IHU display stay active but if the nav screen has been initiated but not used, then this will stay on the LR splash screen for up to 8 minutes. The idea is that if the vehicle has been unlocked then locked again as temporary security then all systems will be available for immediate drive-away use
The only variable is battery voltage, if this drops then the IHU & nav screen will shut down quicker
