That though crossed my mind too wilsonmg, thanks Thumbs Up , it's on the list of suspects.... Big Cry

Would this be covered under warranty? Though instructions on a DIY job are available on here, it seems to be quite a big job to do alone Shocked

I would imagine it would be covered under LR warranty(if under 3 year old). . . The warranty I had did not cover it as it had not 'Actually failed' yet ???

I told them if it was not replaced it would fail iminantley and wreck the engine ?. . .their response was if it failed and wrecked the engine they would pay for it and a new engine ????? go figure ???

Wasn't that dear to get my local LR specialist to sort. (about £110 fitted) . . as for DIY. . .not sure. .

Laughing "Cure" rather than prevent, yep, know that mentality Twisted Evil

What's troubling me though is that there's only 15,000 miles or so on the clock, and TBH the engine has not exactly been pushed or used hard...

Problem is that to diagnose they'll have to do some investigative "surgery" and even then, they may not pick it up... and who knows where that will lead Rolling Eyes

LA204-003v2

Still looking to resolve this, it hasn't got worse over the past six months, but still very noticeable...

Has anyone got a copy of the "LA204-003v2 - Discovery 3 - Steering Wheel Vibration/Steering Shimmy" TSB they can share, just in case it relates to this (I don't even know the date this was issued, but just in case... Rolling Eyes )
